Norda was founded in 2020 by husband and wife Nick and Willa Martire after they couldn’t find a trail shoe that was tough enough, light enough or fast enough to take us where we wanted to go. So we created it.
As lifelong endurance athletes with decades of combined shoe industry experience the pair felt that none of the global brands had nailed the perfect combination of fit, cushion, grip, weight, breathability and material innovation. So they got to work.
Nick and Willa knew they couldn’t build the shoe they wanted using conventional mass–production techniques, so they looked to the past in order to create the future.
