Although the parent company Domingo was established in Japan after WW2 it wasn’t until 1981 that they created the Spellbound brand. Inspired through vintage Americana, Spellbound’s original focus was an obsession to create the perfect denim wash for customers looking for that worn–in look straight out of the bag. Over the following years that obsession with expert construction, quality, comfort, and timeworn longevity has developed into small collection of beautiful contemporary vintage inspired coats, jackets, shirts and trousers. Beige Army Parka (48–919X)
The Parka has a cotton–like appearance, but the weft is woven with nylon, giving it a firm and resilient feel. Due to the characteristics of nylon, it is a fabric that feels light and strong. The U.S. ARMY M–43 anorak is the design source, and the fabric has been changed to C/N to give it ease of wear and functionality. A modern silhouette that can be worn comfortably with an oversized silhouette. Bio Long Wash. The bio gives it a firm texture, and the difference in the shrinkage rate of cotton and nylon gives it a nice uneven feel.
