Desert (CJ003) Sherry 25 Jacket
The “SHERRY” jacket is an entirely original design by THE CORONA UTILITY, based on workwear and reimagined with elements from various utility styles such as hunting jackets and military wear. Its unique inside pocket accessible from the front centre also functions as a lining, giving the jacket a three–dimensional look. The silhouette of the sleeves, as well as the underarm details subtly incorporate aspects of military field jackets adding to its distinctive character. This jacket holds a position in the CORONA lineup as a casual tailored piece.
This fabric is inspired by the high–density weather cloth for tropical areas used by the U.S. military in the 1950s for experimental sample uniforms. It is a natural material that is strong and durable and dries easily even when wet. Coma yarns have a long fiber length, which prevents the formation of fluff and gives it a smooth feel.
