Arpenteur was born in Lyon in 2011, the creation of it’s founders and cousins Marc Asseily and Laurent Bourven. ”Arpenteur” is an old fashioned French word for surveyor and this is the approach that the two boys take to the studying of traditional Work, Naval and sports wear. Always respecting the original they then add an extra level of sophistication to their finished garment while keeping that subtle understated feel you always associate with France.

The Rachel mesh PONTUS is a short sleeve nautical style T–shirt with a boxy fit and rolled hems.

The combed cotton Rachel mesh of this garment has been knitted specifically for Arpenteur on old Rachel looms. It is based on the classic French Navy Uniform striped material but with an updated soft hand and improved durability.

The open knit structure makes the Rachel mesh breathable despite its substantial weight.

Postage within the UK is £8.00 and will be provided by DHL EXPRESS – a fully tracked next business day service. If we receive your order by 12.00pm Monday – Friday, we will get it to you next business day. If you order after 12.00pm on Friday then your order will leave on the following Monday.
